I did actually look them up. As a city girl, I thought nettles were pine needles ha. And now living in the country (wesrrn Colorado), I'm not one to wander in the wilderness. My son though as a boy in Alabama (lived there a year) picked up a stick and promptly dropped it. The stick left tiny thin thorns in his hand. Between that and the humidity with my fibro, I decided the South wasn't for sissies. I digress.
