IO,

From everything I have read or heard, CAC always increases.

It increases with time, and it increases when one begins statin therapy as the statin begins to calcify the soft plaques.

So true. 16 years on Atorvastatin and first CAC score after 15 years was 2,000+. And one 40% Blockage to go along with mild case of AFib. Taking Eliqus now 2Xs per day. Frankly feel like crap since the Eliquis and because I can’t take a beta blocker due to bradycardia while sleeping I have these spikes of tachycardia that take 4-5 hours to come down with any exertion in yard work, out outbound in hot sun etc.
