Do you think all those tests are necessary to diagnose it. I know I have it from symptoms.

For me, it was not. All were negative for me. I don't have gerd, no family history of gerd, I had MAC 4 years ago that was aggressively treated. NJH ordered all these expensive tests and I went along while they ignored my real issue of lung cavitation and a fungal infection.
