Adenocarcinoma with Neuroendocrine
I have recently been diagnosed with the Differentiated Adenocarcinoma with Neuroendocrine Differentiations in the Gallbladder, Liver, and parts of right and left Abdomen. I have yet to see a doctor. What are the treatments for such and the final results of my life expectancy? I have numerous other issues involving lungs, extensive calcifications of the arteries and more. They did a Pet/Ct Scan on me, is there other testing that I should recommend to Doctor when i see him, for it is a rare cancer.

My friend thank you for those encouraging words and my prayers are with you all who are suffering. My son is an Anesthesiologist, recommended this oncologist to me and will be on speaker phone when I see doctor next week, then he can break it down in layman's terms for me.
Question, for I am new to this entirely, and most are and everything is happening so fast, is NET's what I have, they diagnosed me with Differentiated Adenocarcinoma with Neuroendocrine Differentiations, is all those big words spelt out to be NET's, for I know NET's alone is rare. Chemo scares me, and I thank God that it has helped you and you are feeling better than you have in years. Yeah, you right, no one wants this, I fear most for my children and mother, who is 86, that I have yet to say anything to them. They did not even know I had emergency surgery in fact. I travel through my life's pains and misery in silence, don't want to worry the ones I love. Gonna wait til I see an oncologist and do more testing i pray before i say anything to anyone. One of my son's, the doctor, I do tell him and he does not repeat. Praying for you
Visited with my Oncologist yesterday, I have less than 6 months, because of this RARE cancer with a combination of differentiations.
My Prayers for you all, will not stop and may God be by you always
Regarding your RELAX NETs are not an immediate death sentence. Mine is, I have less than six months if that, Oncologist said. NETs can be treated by Chemo, what Nets I have can be too, but I have Adenocarcinoma with Neuroendocrine Differentiations, which means Nets can be treated by Chemo or the Adenocarcinoma can be treated by Chemo, but hey BOTH CAN NOT.
MY PRAYERS TO ANYONE WITH ANY ILLNESS DOES NOT STOP, I PRAY FOR YOU ALL AND MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU
and that was two months ago, so getting nearer daily, which sucks! But my belief in JESUS never stops, nor do I place blame or ask why, for I accept what I have and am ready for his calling.
Prayers for you! Sometimes diagnoses are not correct! May you have peace in your heart!💜💜💜
God bless you on your journey. You are not alone. If you have faith, at this point it is all you need. 🙏
I hope you are well. Contact Lowell Anthony at University of Kentucky Hospital. He specializes in neuroendocrine cancers. You can do an online consult. If he will take you. He helped people I met in the lobby of the cancer center who got six months from a regular oncologist. One is five years out and the other is three. Don't stop fighting.
