Your smart not to ignore the problem and confided with your mother about your problem. It could be multiple things from yeast infection to something else. But you need to have it checked out.

Ask you mother about seeing a doctor about your concern. If you have a pediatrician or Primary Care Provider it is OK to see that provider for advice. An appointment with a gynecologist is also a good idea. As a young female, it is a good idea and beside existing problem, it is also a chance ask any other questions you may have.
