Years ago, before the internet, I used to go to the Castle Connolly guide to best doctors. I just checked and there are over 100 orthopedic surgeons in the Colorado Springs area among other places in Colorado. Get a notebook. Look up the doctors that are close to you. What are their reviews. Where did they go to school. Since I have lived in major metro areas I can just look up the best hospitals that have the best orthopedic department and then I choose the best doctor based on their experience, reviews, education. It’s a tedious process but it’s well worth the time and effort to get the right doctor.
