Good morning. I am now past my 5 years of cancer drugs. When I first started them, my doctor prescribed Anastrozole. I finally had to change to a different drug because i was having such pain from that one. After trying a couple of other ones, I finally was prescribed Tamoxifen. I was able to tolerate that one and stayed on it for the remainder of my 5 years. It does have side effects, but they are so much more tolerable than the other drugs.
