Has anyone heard of Kratom or tried it?
Doing a search with the word Kratom came up 0
Has anyone heard of KRATOM or better yet tried it?
I purchased a bottle of it about a year ago but after reading the words of people who do not believe in nonFDA approved medication it scared me.
Recently I watched a documentary about it that changed my mind.
There was only 24 pills so now I’m going to buy another bottle.
I think a bigger sample size is needed to know for sure about its effectiveness.
If anyone else has tried it I’d like to know

Is this in the form of gummies? Do you buy it at a store vs on-line? How do you know what you are buying is good quality with consistent strengths of CBD and THC?
Yes, it is available as gummies. Also tinctures, popcorn and taffy. Company is located in Austin Texas. Mail order is easy. Their website and YouTube videos provide a behind the scenes instruction of the process from live plants to final form.

I've been shopping their online catalog for over a year. There have been no surprises.

My friend tried Kratom and loved it. See ethanaturals.com for trustworthy source and Kratom.com for info. They press it and have it 3rd party verified etc. They do sell many small samples that are inexpensive so you don't have to buy a whole bottle if you don't want to and their support is very helpful on ideas of what to try. My husband tried kratom but he has liver cancer and he experienced liver discomfort so we did not go forward with it. We were looking for a non opioid answer to pain due to liver cancer that spread to his spine causing pain and swelling. My research of Kratom is if you take it alone it is addictive on the level of coffee. But if you mix it with something else then there can be serious problems. It is not an opioid but some states are restrictive on it and some are not. We have tried CBD and other hemp products but my husband cannot tolerate them well, with or without THC. Conolidine, from Crepe Jasmine bark in Asia marketed out of Alphretta, Georgia by Gameday Ready as CONOBC2 is a very effective topical that brings him some relief. They also have an oil based product but the salve seems to work the best for him.
stuckonu @stuckonu also forgot to mention staypolitehemp.com has impressive controls and doctor and nurses backing the company if you are looking for quality controlled hemp products.
I would definitely not recommend it! Not that I am against all non FDA approved/monitored meds. at all. But I have seen people addicted to it & have drastic negative personality changes. A good friend almost died from it.
Anyone tried Kratom? Did it help with pain? Suppose to be good for circulation.
Thank you for any comments

I have taken the liquid form and when pain management cut my pain meds by 2/3 I started having bad withdrawals. Kradom helped me through that. I don't know that it helped my chronic pain. I wish something would 😪
@sharka
I posted this in June already-
My husband’s nephew died from Kratom- taking too much, thinking more is better.
So sorry to hear about your nephew.🙏 🤗🥲🤗🙏
I work in the kratom industry (part time) and have been on some level of involvement since 2014ish.
I don’t have anything to argue here. Substance use is a risk.
I got involved leading up to the opiate epidemic abandonment of chronic pain patients who were needing SOMETHING.
It’s a helpful botanical FOR SOME, but it’s not free of side effects. Long term use is NOT recommended.
Unfortunately the fed keeps limiting people’s options and they are now creating shortages of opiate medication.
This is where one big problem lies. People should not be left to suffer because SOME people abuse substances. SOME need an alternative period. Not every type of pain responds to Tylenol alone!
Another problem (this one is the most troublesome) I’m personally working on is getting kratom products OUT of convenience stores. It does not belong there next to the (poison) food and beverages. NEVER LET SOMEONE YOU KNOW BUY KRATOM AT CONVENIENCE STORES.
Even the convenience store employees are getting involved with this by shaming their customers into quitting. The kratom sold in those stores does not include pertinent information for use. And the products sold in that arena are typically much stronger than anyone “passing through the store” would need. Unfortunately!
I’m not trying to defend it. But I’m familiar with it enough to help answer any more questions.
Looks like there will not be a need for more information, but ask if you like and maybe I can steer you to updated reading materials online (the fed keeps taking information down. Anything with that word gets yanked offline).
