I have a football size bulge under my ribs that is buzzing?
I have a bulge began after 11/2017 abdominal up & down total hysterectomy. March 2020 had my gall bladder out.
Bulge grew bigger & 2021 ultrasound was told they don’t see a hernia
bulge even bigger by March 2023, sharp pains on side sent me to ER- ER doc had me admitted for surgeon consult after saying she thinks it’s a hernia. In hospital my hips are too wide to go thru CT- am sent home w/ a shrug again- pain subsided on side after a few weeks.
June 2023- sometime around the first I thought maybe I was nauseous. Had sensational like butterfly wings flutter that one feels during early pregnancy. This is only in the bulge area, not lower abdomen- not on the left- just the bulge that curve from my xiphoid to the right & down.
sensation progressed to what I described feels like pop rocks candy (carbonated sugar chunks that explode in your mouth) in my bulge. This sensation never ever stops now- it’s 24/7. It feels like an electric zapping almost.
Occasionally the bulge makes loud gurgling sounds when I move in bed or stand up. Sometimes I feel a sharp POP too.
If I splay my hand over the lump and lightly press I can feel the digestive lurches even on a few days I was unable to eat.
I don’t know what to do since I need to loose about 25 more pounds (I’ve been loosing weight) before my hips should not be too wide to go thru a CT machine- surgeon in March said they can’t help until I have a CT. But a month of constant buzzing & noises has me freaked out.
Any insight? Thank you. I have photos but don’t know if it’s appropriate to post.

I think noises can be from gas. They could have done upper GI video x rays while drinking nuclear stuff to see if the bulge is Hiatal Hernia or not. And they could do Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
I ended up at the ER today. Got some answers- it is a hernia- but not what the buzzing is really. Thank you for reply.
