I have Medicare with aarp supplement. At the time that I was taking Tymlos, my insurance didn’t cover. It would have been Part D, but they didn’t cover. That was because you give it to yourself at home. I’m on Evenity now and it’s covered because you go to infusion center or hospital.
Evenity not costing anything.

I had asked my doctor about Evenity vs Tymlos due to cost. His reasoning for prescribing Tymlos is that it has been shown to assist in fracture healing. Since I have 2 delayed healing fractures it made sense to me. Although my part D plan made an exception to cover it, my copay is high. Hopefully, I will be out of the donut hole soon and it will cost less than $750/month.

Could you tell me what the infusion center or hospital charges Medicare?
