Hi @vinny101, I guess it depends on a person's resources and what other forms of exercise she or he can perform. The Marodyne LIV cannot run on carpeting so it's not practical for my house. I opted instead to do Dr. Loren Fishman's yoga routine (on YouTube) which has been studied and found to increase bone density, "12 Poses vs. Osteoporosis" if you want to Google it.
Margaret Martin posted a short video on the benefits of the Marodyne LIV:

She explains how it has it has been found to be beneficial for improving the lumbar spine, in post menopausal women particularly when a person's options for exercise are limited.
A few Connect members have posted about using them, but I'm not sure where their comments are. You may be able to find them by searching for Marodyne LIV. Best, Teri

Thanks. I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. Little scared and confused. Definitely want do something without taking drugs. Saw the VT003F Linear Vibration Plate on Amazon too. What is your experience using this machine so far, (know that you have not done dexa since then) Would you be kind enough to tell about it and how you use it? I will also try the exercises that you mentioned above. About Merodyne LIV, except few UK women, I have not seen any testimonials anywhere including Youtube.
