Hi @briam, Welcome to Mayo Connect. From what I’m reading you’re experiencing symptoms of tingling and numbness in your neck and head. And you’re also experiencing forgetfulness or getting confused? Have you had this evaluated by a doctor?
Sometimes nerves can become compress when muscles or tendons are inflamed do to an injury. That can be something as simple as spending too much time with your head bent down working or moving ‘just right’ while exercising. Do you remember injuring your neck or back with a fall, doing anything that has jarred your neck, been reaching over your head for extended periods of time? That type of activity?
You mentioned you’ve been fine but had an ‘internal’ on your gut. Does that mean you had a colonoscopy or some imaging where you were lying on an exam table perhaps in a position where it’s not normal for you? Did this numbness, tingling and forgetfulness start occurring again after you had this done?
