Anyone on Pluvicto (Lu 177), a new drug for prostate cancer?
My close friend has had Pluvecto treatment suggested to him by oncologists. It is relatively new, having been approved by the FDA in March 2022. Have any of you been given this drug? I have read it is radioactive material and patient needs to stay away 6 ft from others for at least 3 days so as not to contaminate them. He has not yet decided whether to take the treatment or not as he is feeling awful enough as is.

I will receive my 5th treatment today. I am also on Lupron and zytiga and still responsive to ADT. Dozens of Mets in spine and pelvis. Psa now undetectable and tumors are improved and prostate shrank. I am part of a clinical trial. Diagnosed last summer 2022.
I have uncountable mets in my spine, ribs, sternum and pelvis. I started Lupron and Zytiga in December 2021 and I'm still castration sensitive. My PSA is undetectable and I feel pretty good, but I worry about the future. Is your clinical trial still open? Can I look it up to see the criteria for joining? How do you feel?
They / Novartis just closed it at MD Anderson and probably everywhere. My guess is they have enough data to go for FDA approval. I expect it to be approved soon.
There’s a 2022 description of the trial in journal of clinical oncology but I could figure out how to attach it. Google Lu 177 trial for castate sensible pc.
The only symptom I can clearly blame on pluvicto is dry mouth which is pretty bad. I have a lot of fatigue but I’m guessing it’s from the ADT.
Has you fatigue gotten better than in the first six months of ADT. I’m hoping mine gets better with time.
My fatigue during the daytime isn't bad, probably because I exercise a lot. It's gotten a bit worse in the evening during the last few months, though. I go to bed soon after dinner.
Was your trial stage III?
I can't find the journal article using Google. Do you have the url?
Yes stage 3.
Good.
