I'm sorry to say that if you have metal-on-metal hip implants, there will be chromium and cobalt continuing to move into your body until the old hips are removed and replaced with non-metal hip cup & ball.
There is no medication which will remove these metals - only removal of the source (the cup and ball of the implant) and then time for your body to eliminate the metal through blood, liver, kidneys and urine. About a year after removing and replacing the old parts, blood is back to normal. This is called revision of the hip replacements.
