@mitfit Yes, many therapists do not accept Medicare, at least those in private practice. A non-profit hospital or agency will accept Medicare although you’d need to check. Are you looking for a mental health therapist with an office that meets face-to-face? Or would you be interested in meeting virtually on a computer through telehealth. Meeting virtually will increase your chances of finding a therapist. Generally, you can see any mental health therapist licensed in your state which is why meeting virtually can be an option.

This is very true. I got involved with the Behavioral Health at Stanford and they accepted
my Medicare and UHC Plan
