Not enough tissue taken from biopsy but negative results. Endometrial thickness 7mm and an ovarian cyst. Awaiting results of MRI. Oncologist suggested hysterectomy. I'm confused. Not too much support from doctor

Based on what people say on this forum, failed initial attempts at endometrial biopsies are very common. Mine failed, and a month later they did a D&C, which was successful. Other people here have said that their Dr had them put a pill of misoprostol in their vagina prior to the biopsy, which apparently softens the cervix to enable the biopsy.

Have your doctors tried either of these?
