Hello!,
Yes this is very normal. I had it with my hips and now I have it with my knee replacements. It's like a dull aching toothache is what I describe it as. I'm 10 weeks out on my right knee replacement and 3 weeks out on my left knee replacement. I had my hips done 2 and 1/2 years ago and dull aching lasted a good year and a half but it wasn't all the time it was here and there. Today I'm having one of those, I call them dull toothache pains in my legs. Just got to be patient. I know it's hard to be patient trust me 4 replacements in 2 and 1/2 years. Seems like there's no end in sight but there really is and hopefully I'll have my life back here soon. I wanted to add I use lotion or lidocaine and rub my legs at least twice a day, this helps a bit. Good luck.

I have recently been doing a good massage before bed and it seems to help a lot. I have lidocaine that I used before the replacement, I’ll give that a try
Thanks
