I have to get a leep procedure done. I have precancerous cells on my cervix. I am very nervous for this procedure. Has anyone had a leep procedure done?

I'm hoping that @plerball21 will return, as well as @31innyc @chart, and offer any input on having a LEEP and feeling nervous. I'd also like to invite @travelgirl @hopeful33250 @jenniferhunter for any thoughts and support.

When will you have the LEEP, @gemi? Do you have a support person accompanying you?

@gemi I had a LEEP in the 90s. If I recall correctly they did put me under mild sedation. I have no memory of any pain or discomfort after the procedure.
Having had an irregularity I do now continue to have Pap smears yearly. It really is not something to worry about though, and when the results are in, more than likely negative, you will feel relieved that you have nothing to worry about.
