I’m 74yrs old and been on effexor 25+years. Because of cognitive issues, my doctor (neuro psychiatrist) has tapered me off Effexor by the 4th week. 3 days later I began to experience those awe full symptoms. I’m toughing it out Because for the 1st time in 25 years I woke up rested /connected with life. I don’t want to start taking them again. How long before the the worst of the symptoms nausea and nightmares ends?
