I have been doing transcendental meditation for a long while. Since the beginning of the 70s when it first became popular. It does work!! However, like most things you need to keep it up. If you stop - take a break - or stop for awhile. Just start meditating again.

I agree, meditation and breathing really help with anxiety. I try to do it every day as a preventative and when anxiety really hits, go right to relaxation, meditation and breathing.

Exactly, the more I participate the more I learn to focus on my breathing and I learned the out side noises that pull my attention or thoughts are normal, I just need to recognize it and go back focusing on my breathing. I’m no master but I’m learning every day. And also you get out of it what you put into it. The discipline is a reward in itself.
