Yes! A year after I had Covid ( relatively mild case- just severe cough) & 10 months of long Covid my lung X-rays showed many nodules. My dr said my lungs looked like I had a history of chronic lung disease. I hadn’t smoked since 1970, and had no symptoms til Covid, plus routine X-rays in the past didn’t show any nodules so I know it’s the long Covid. I still have shortness of breath but no cough
I’m a retired nurse & when I read the X-ray report I was shocked & scared

@batwood23 How are you currently? Is it improved?

Hello batwood23,

Do you mind updating on your lung nodules situation after covid? I found out in Sept 2024 I have four nodules, all ground glass. Pulmonologist seems to think they are from previous infections. I haven't even been sick in a long time. Sept 2023 I did have a relatively mild case of covid. Sick with heavy cough about 2-3 weeks. I guess that was about a year before the scan. Do you think that nodules from covid could still be present a year later? I was scanned again last month Jan 2025 and the nodules are still there, no change. My next scan is Sept 2025. Is this what it is now? scanning every year waiting for the other shoe to drop?? I'm finding it difficult to cope with that. Wished I could know more what these things are or more importantly if they will become anything. Hope you are doing well now. Wishing you good health!
