Same here I had COVID last year plus pneumonia and they say my lungs have scarring and ground glass in upper and lower lobes of both lungs. I'm on oxygen 24/7 doctors say I have to give it time and the put me on inhalers that doesn't help shortness of breath at all
How are you currently? Is it improved?
Hello, can you tell me more about the multiple lung nodules you have? I found out from a scan in September 2024 I have 4 lung nodules in both lungs. The biggest is 7mm and they are all ground glass nodules. I had a follow up scan in January 2025 and they are still there with no change. Darn it. I was hoping they would be gone. 🙁 I am a former smoker quit 15 years ago. Dad died of lung cancer. I am terrified of what these things are or could become. The waiting for the future to unfold is difficult to do sometimes. How many nodules do you have? Were they solid or ground glass. Im sorry to hear your shortness of breath became bad. I hope it has improved for you and that you are doing well. Wishing you good health!
Yes! A year after I had Covid ( relatively mild case- just severe cough) & 10 months of long Covid my lung X-rays showed many nodules. My dr said my lungs looked like I had a history of chronic lung disease. I hadn’t smoked since 1970, and had no symptoms til Covid, plus routine X-rays in the past didn’t show any nodules so I know it’s the long Covid. I still have shortness of breath but no cough
I’m a retired nurse & when I read the X-ray report I was shocked & scared
