@clairemclaughlin. I, too have a dry cough at night but it only last a few minutes. You say that yours is so bad that you feel like you could pass out? Are you in a dry climate? Would a humidifier help?
What does your doctor say about the cough?

Thank you for your feed back. I have an air purifier .it runs 24/7. I live in Orlando Fla. so yes it is dry. this cough happens wither I am using O2 or just resting. I am inside most of the time plenty of A/C. I keep taking cold drinks. and you guessed it . I have too many trips to the bathroom . Hugs
