I am 5 months post TKR. While going through PT with a lot of pain I asked about taping and a knee brace. He said no to both; not during the healing post TKR! He is a therapist with 45 years of experience. Ask your surgeon!

Knee sleeve not brace was ok with my surgeon. Just a temporary fix for a specific acute pain. To be used 2-3 days only. It certainly worked.
I think most of these random pains I get happen from positions and restlessness in my sleep.
