Bowel resection after adult Intussusception
Eight months ago I start having a lot of pain in my abdominal area had an MRI was told I had an adult intussusception and had to have surgery two months later finally had the surgery they found a rare ulcer in my small intestines causing the Intussusception A bowel resection what is performed. I’ve had nothing but plumbing problems ever since, I feel like my intestines are in overdrive all the time I’ve tried everything I’ve never had so many bowel movements sometimes soft sometimes hard, I’ve tried Metamucil ,probiotics linzess, my primary doctor put me on dicyclomine which seems to help a little… i’ve read so many of your stories I feel so bad for all of you never thought I would be part of a discussion like this… G.I. doctor doesn’t listen to the ongoing pain and the ongoing to the bathroom 4-6 times a day, Why do we have such problems after a bowel resection

Your intestines are still healing, the process does not happen quickly as food you digest probably irritates the incision site. Bowel surgery can cause food sensitivities. Look up leaky gut and see if that applies to you. Eat food that is easy to digest and that does not cause inflammation (like alcohol and gluten).
