Has anyone used compression boots to relieve neuropathy pain?
I've had peripheral neuropathy since 2018. A friend recently asked if I would consider using compression boots such as those from Normatec.

I would be interested to know if anyone has had experience with this product/technique to relieve neuropathic symptoms.

@bryanbay, I did try a shorter cheaper version of a similar product quite a few years ago but couldn't tell if it was helping so stopped using it. I now have to wear compression socks daily to control the swelling in my legs for my lymphedema diagnosis which just something else I have to contend with along with my neuropathy. It does make sense that if it helps the blood flow/circulation, it could possibly help with neuropathy but I think there are a lot of different factors at play so it's iffy as to whether it's going to work for everyone (just my non medical opinion).
Here is some information on the product including some alternatives:

What is your most bothersome symptom of neuropathy? Is it the pain?
I am trying them at my gym. I have only used them twice so far but will keep you posted if I get any relief from using them. It does feel good though.
I’m still searching for the magic bullet.
Thank you both. These compression products seem like they're aimed at younger athletic types to help them recover from hard workouts .
Ho
w long have you been wearing compression stockings? Have you noticed any improvement with the neuropathy?
@marciak9, I've been wearing compression socks since 2018 when I was first diagnosed with lymphedema in my legs. They help control the swelling in my legs but I don't believe they do anything to help with my neuropathy unless constant pressure on the legs helps. I have been getting some feeling back in the bottom of my feet but I have had the numbness and some tingling once in awhile for 25+ years.
