How do you love a normal life. When diverticulitis keeps attacking me. I’ve lost over 20 pounds. Sacred to leave the house and the medications are just as worst as the disease. I’m so miserable and tired of crying being up all Times of night alone. How are you all functioning with this condition

Maybe time to see a new Gastro Dr? Make sure to read reviews online at like Health grades or other sites before making appt .
I’ve gone to 6 Gastro Dr’s in 10 years, and waiting in 7 th in Oct . I’ve even been to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Dr’s and testing there . I have 6 diff diagnosis and tried everything. Yet still each day is a nightmare for me . I understand so completely what you are going through . It makes one want to give up . Keep searching , get a 2 nd , 3 rd opinion. Praying 🙏 you get healed . Me too …

Yep. I seen a new one yesterday. Not sure how my old one kept putting me on meds and never thought about telling me to take a probiotic knowing that would mess me up. This is crazy. It’s okay. I will feel bette r soon I pray

Try stop eating lettuce and stay away from milk. Sure help my stomach issues. And no small seeded foods also.

I have the same diverticulitis along with Ehlors Danlos syndrome and Fibromyalga and mass cell activation syndrome. Fiber replacement comes from Juice+ I take. It's a whole food nutrition addition to my diet.

Juice + what is that.

Hello @ciebrown. I am sorry you are struggling with diverticulitis. There are others here who can understand your situation, so you will notice I have moved your post into an existing discussion that you can find here:

I see others have joined you already to share some of the tips they have found to be helpful. I was also going to ask about your diet and the modifications you've made. What foods have you wholesale eliminated? Perhaps it is time to consider a food journal to see what others may be contributing to feeling worse after consumption. Have you ever tried that before?
