Yes, we're all different when it comes to medical issues. This forum has been good to understand how others have handled the same issue. Of course, we all have to keep in mind our bodies are different and adjust accordingly.

Wow! 79. Your doing great. I'm 65, 5.3", 115 lbs. I feel better now that I've changed my diet and lifestyle (not that it was bad before, just adjusting to get more bone benefits). I use heat also when I may overdue it working in the yard. The pain is gone the next day. So learning my limits also.

Morning leeosteo~
So good to hear from you and what you are doing to enhance your life. It does come down to a comfort level that can be sustained..for the long haul...taking responsibility for ourselves, at first might seem hard to do..but in the long run..we're far better off for putting in the energy needed. I applaud all that are on this platform..as I feel you do as well. Whatever the decisions are that we make..I truly hope that they are good ones..made with thought and education. We didn't get this far to be put on a shelf..as an ad for an osteo drug says. I agree with that statement! We may overdue ourselves at times..but then we know enough to rest and heal. All we can do is strive to keep moving and 'dancing'....for sure in our hearts. If I may add....get a little 10$ pedometer..Walmart sells them...best thing ever to get one off the couch! Go fly away now.....
