I hope someone reading this is familiar with Waushara, WI. Sounds like you have wonderful friends & neighbors. I live in NJ. Maybe someone knows if there are any medical centers that can help you via Zoom or FaceTime. I see people talk about being accepted by the Mayo Clinic. They can’t all live in that area. Anyone have any ideas. Praying for you Bill.

I live in Florida. When I suspected Long Covid I called Mayo in Jacksonville. I was verbally accepted into the Long Covid Recovery Group until I stated that I did not have a positive PCR test. I took the free government test that was mailed to my home in 2022. I was referred to UF in Gainesville who didn’t require the positive PCR test. I waited 8 months for an appointment, but went last month. It was a 1/2 hour meeting, which was helpful. The Covid recovery doc recommended multiple blood tests looking for inflammation, a referral to a rheumatologist, and links to resources. The doctor faxes the results of our meeting to my primary care. They strictly consult since it was a 3 hour drive. I have a virtual follow up appointment in 6 months.

Guys, there's a FB group with a doctor on it from Texas & over 5,000 people now (or more by now) that has been VERY helpful & educational. They post LOTS of articles & helpful info. His name is Dr. Groysman, group is called Long COVID Treatments & Success Stories.
