I have found that with Dementia, I have to be firm with what I say, as well as our doctors.
You know your husband is a danger on the road and could cause catastrophic harm to himself and others, and you could lose everything you have to a lawsuit.

I appreciate your comments but the part about him being a danger on the road etc is what I already know and I asked not to tell me that. My question was how can I get him to stop driving. I will ask my doctor to be firmer. I have a feeling that will do it. Thanks

My doctor has sent an order for my husband for a driving test lasting 3 hours: 1 hour for evaluation and 2 hours of driving. Doctor told my husband this will be the final decision for him to drive or not drive.
It costs a couple of hundred dollars but so worth the cost.
