Has anyone had good results taking Letrozole?

Has anyone had good results with taking Lestrozole for Her2 positive breast cancer. I had 3 months of chemo and 15 bouts of radiation. I tried anastrozole which was a nightmare.

Did you also have Herceptin? I did fine with letrozole for 5 years. I started with anastrazole and switched but turned out the problem was I was sensitive to fillers. With both. I took brand name letrozole (Femara) and later found one manufacturer I could tolerate.

What effects did you have with anastrazole that were horrible for you? They both reduce estrogen from the adrenals below detectable levels so I am not sure if side effects over the long term are different. Your doc would know.

I was Her2 negative but take Letrozole without many side effects. I have had some hair thinning but it also could be from two surgeries and stress. I have insomnia some nights as well.
