Clinics in Arkansas?
I’ve just recently happened upon this health clinic and have heard so many good things about them. Do they have a clinic in Arkansas?

Hello @wsmith7, Mayo Clinic is one of the most respected names in healthcare worldwide. In the US there are three campus locations. Jacksonville, FL Phoenix, AZ Rochester, MN.
There aren’t any clinics located in Arkansas. However, you might look into Unity Health. They’re a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network which is a select group of independent health systems that are granted special access to Mayo Clinic's extensive knowledge and world-leading medical expertise.

I’m not familiar with Arkansas but I see on the Unity Health website that they have 44 locations, so hopefully there may be a facility near you. Are you experiencing a particular health issue?
Thank you so Much for getting back to me! Yes, I’ve been battling gastro problems for going on 2.5 years now with no luck from 3 different doctors as to what’s going on. I’ve had surgery, with hopes to be “fixed” but I’m still at square one!
Two and half years is a long time to be dealing with gastro problems. That sounds miserable and I’m sure it impacts your daily activities. It’s frustrating not getting any answers.
Mayo tackles the complicated cases, so it might be worth another opinion with a specialist at one of the Mayo campuses I mentioned. Not sure which location would be the most convenient for you. But if you’d like to request an appointment here is a link to the Mayo website. http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
Would that be something you’d consider?
Absolutely miserable!! Yes, I’m to the point of ready to try anything. The day to day life and trying to raise kids while dealing with this is a struggle. Anything will be better than what I’m getting right now.

A hyperthermic cavernoma, also known as a cavernous malformation, is a rare vascular abnormality in the brain or spinal cord. It is a type of blood vessel malformation that affects the veins and capillaries, causing them to become enlarged and irregularly shaped.
Here are some key points about hyperthermic cavernoma:
- It is a congenital condition, meaning it is present at birth.
- It can occur anywhere in the brain or spinal cord.
- Symptoms can vary depending on the location and size of the cavernoma and may include seizures, headaches, weakness or numbness in the limbs, and vision problems.
- Diagnosis is typically made through MRI or CT scans.
- Treatment options include monitoring, surgery, or stereotactic radiosurgery.
- The exact cause of cavernous malformations is not yet fully understood, and research is ongoing.
It's important to note that cavernous malformations are rare and can be challenging to diagnose and treat. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms, it's essential to consult with a qualified medical professional for proper evaluation and care.
