Neuropathy Relief Centers: Is the price worth it?

Posted by gm123 @gm123, May 31, 2023

I've been suffering from peripheral neuropathy for the past 5 years. Started in the toes of my right foot and has been steadily rising up to my thigh. The numbness, tingling and burning sensations have been driving me crazy. And now my balance is getting so bad I'm careful not to fall over. Even driving is becoming difficult as I can barely feel the foot pedals. All doctors have told me that there is no cure and that it will just get worse with age. They prescribed Gabapentin and my neurologist suggested spinal injections which I do not wish to pursue. 1'll soon be 75.
Now I've recently come across a Neuropathy and Chronic Pain Center in Connecticut which claims an 80% success rate with their patients. They use SANEXAS and other electrical stimulation devices. However they do not accept insurance and patients have to pay in advance out of pocket. The price tag is hefty: over $6,000 for 16 sessions. Does this sound outrageous or reasonable? Any opinions would be welcomed!

I too have had good luck with CBD, mainly the balm that I rub into my feet. I also do gummies to help fall asleep. I am in California and have not trouble but it is pricey.

Could you tell me more about the balm and gummies that you use? The name and where to get it? Can you buy it online? I'm in Northern California.

I agree with everything you said.
It is VERY pricey, but if our States DO NOT have it...trying to "get it"
from another source, is sometimes impossible at any price!
Thanks for your comment!

Our Cannabis products, are sold in individual states, as you know. In PA, there started out in 2016, to have ONE grower. As the new growers came on the scene, now there is competition and they compete in pricing. One of the first States ( to my limited knowledge) was Oregon. There was competition (lots of home grown) right from the git-go, so pricing was more reasonable.
It IS Definitely worth the price to me. Of course, it depends on your pain tolerance and your pocketbook!! Neuropathy has MANY FACES!
Wishing you less pain, no matter what solution you find!

Judee you said the key word California everything is expensive there Lol 😆. Im in the Bluegrass State I believe now it’s expensive everywhere barley holding on paying bills where I’m disabled we never think that one morning you wake up to go and you hit the floor because your legs don’t work it scared me to death …
all the emotions, terror, everything…2-weeks later Covid the world shut down it’s been Hell And still is with all the political stuff going on I don’t even watch the news people just say what’s going on can’t believe the way we have to live now and being disabled on top of everything it’s a fight to just live with shape I’m in let alone all the other trying to keep up with house payment, food is outrageous….. truck payment, electric, Columbia Gas , Water bills . The end of the month I can’t afford my phone anymore I’ll have to turn it off along with TV, so I can have a little extra money to eat
i pray 🙏🏻 things change but for now it’s day to day I give it to the man upstairs Jesus Christ my savior

I received treatment from my chiropractor that consisted of four stations of nerve stimulation sounds like SANEXAS. {He never offered a specific name for this program} It consisted of 1. spinal decompression machine, 2. electrodes placed on my feet and lower legs with the foot being set inside a Bedrock Biosciences Pro Foot Light Plus, 3. low flow oxygen while standing on some type of machine to mimic exercise and 4. I sat on a special pad on a chair and once again my feet were attached to electrodes. This went on for several weeks all for out-of-pocket cost of $6,874.00

What is your feeling about treatment outcome, and what is your feeling about the cost of treatment?

Sounds somewhat similar. But did it work or was it an expensive waste of money?

The latter, very disappointing.

I posted a new comment this morning on the off-label drug use for the drug Naltrexone. the post is very long. I am trying to find it again as things disappear so fast on the non-diabetic neuropathy site.
