I was HERpositive, 2 lymphnodes removed and a lumpectormy plus chemo. I had 6 weeks of regular radiation every day. It ended about a year and a half ago. I had a port which was removed after the radiation.
I started at age 79. I had no problems with the radiation and am in great health now according to my latest check up. My blood pressure stays at around 120/65. No heart problems are seen.

I am 69 I start chemo in 2 weeks for three months I to was told radiation after. I feel more confident now after reading your comment. To have both
