Sparklegram, not at all!!! For me, it would be abnormal not to swear at it! I’ve been given a reprieve for a few months by my doctor. It causes so much cognitive side effects for me that I can’t think straight. It’s wonderful not to be taking them for a little while. Had my mammogram last week and saw my oncologist, everything was clear!!! Nothing abnormal was detected! That means I’m one year out from treatment last summer! What’s your dosage? But you likely have already talked to your oncologist about going to a lower dosage...

And Francine, I have been given a 4 month reprieve! My cancer was one that’s very slow glowing I’ve been off meds since mid-May!!! I LOVE IT!! My next appt. with oncologist is in late September and we’ll review it then. I feel soooooo much better.

I can think clearly again. My husband and I haven’t been away for a vacation in nearly 5 years due to his 95 yr. old mother’s health. But his sister (she lives on the east coast, we are in Salt Lake City) is coming to stay with mommy dearest for those two weeks!!!! And we are going on a European river cruise!! A real vacation and no cancer meds!!! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven!!!

@lisman1408, I'm a year and a half into Arimidex treatment. My dosage is 1 MG a day only! Pretty low!

@lisman1408 I found switching to the letrozole (Femara), I haven't had the cognitive problems and brain fog...just other stuff that's more doable for me.
