Should sugar be eliminated from diet in a cancer patient?

I have spoken to my oncologists who have been very helpful in helping me fight my rare type of aggressive cancer. A cancer that affects less than 5% of the population. I’ve also spoken to a variety of other specialists who have also been very helpful. One thing I know is that cancer is a very personal and serious battle that the individual chooses to fight in their own way and that is their right considering they are the ones going through it vs someone who has spoken to doctors and is not personally battling it.

I am very sorry that my comments seem to have offended you. I think I must not have expressed myself very well because I was truly trying to be helpful. I am also very sorry that you are battling cancer and I wish you well.

I would also like to explain why I am in here trying to help when I am not the patient. I hope you don't mind. I have come to every single appointment with the two people closest to me. I have learned a lot by doing that and just hope to help others. I try to do it to honor those two people because they are unable to come on here and try to help.
