I have LPR and recently had the Bravo meter implanted (four days) to measure acid. Reflux was confirmed so my GI doctor has me on famotidine, but also wants me to sleep at a 45 degree incline. I purchased a 10” and a 12” wedge and am finding either one impossible to implement-end up sliding down until I am basically not elevated at all.

Do you sleep on your back with your wedge pillow?

Thank you, Cindy

I sleep on my left side. I researched and, left is recommended for GI issues. And I use 8 inch wedge; 6-8 is recommended. I think yours is too high. I also use a cylinder shape pillow and tuck it behind my upper back. It makes it more comfortable and my upper back don't bend so much. I hope this works for you.
