After 2 bowel resections over 50 years, my frequency (10+ times a day) and frequency was interfering with my quality of life. I didn't want to go out for fear of an accident. My new GI gave me colesevalem. It's a cholesterol medication that causes constipation- perfect for me with chronic diarrhea. Within 3 days, I had my life back. I suffered for years and I went t several doctors none of them suggested this. Not many GI doctors think of this as it is a cholesterol med- but it works! You can take up to 6 pills a day. You start with 2 a day and gradually build up. 4 a day is my magic number! Don't suffer- find the right doctor!!!!!

I've been to three doctors so far, and not one has come up with a solution. I was told to live with it. Horrible doctors.
