Sciatica pain after a total hip replacement

Has anyone experienced sciatica pain in the glut and the calf after total hip replacement. Then about 8 weeks later numbness in toes both feet. I am taking 800mg Ibuprofen with one Tylenol 500mg every six hours. At night I take the same including one amitriptyline. This seems to calm my pain a manageable level. Shelley

I did not have a hip replacement but I had a TKR. 4 months after sciatica hit with vengeance. Not sure why but it could have been that my walking gate was still not t totally back to normal. The doctor gave me oral prednisone tablets and it knocked it out!
