I am so glad you have a doctor who will help you. Mine only demand that I take the bone meds . No concern for my fear of side affects. They laugh about my fears! I don’t know why they seem so unwilling to listen . Good luck . I am considering the Tymlos . It’s what I have to be on afterwards also that concerns me . They just say my GP would help me with that. Confusing that no follow through is offered . Even my pain management threatens to not give my pain meds if I don’t do the bone meds . He says I won’t help myself . Did the Tymlos ease your pain?

Start Tymlos at two clicks out of the eight on the pen, and work up as fast as you can tolerate. I never took the full dose but did 6-7 clicks for 18 months and had excellent results.

My doc is not doing low dose Reclast because I am afraid of side effects. HE is afraid due to other medical conditions I have.

Forums have a lot of negative posts on side effects because the people who do fine don't post, and if you look up side effects it can be scary because they are legally required to list every side effect.

Tymlos has made me tired and sometimes dizzy. But I am motivated because I have 7 spinal fractures. The pain is not affected by Tymlos. Osteoporosis itself does not cause pain.

I hope you will try it because fractures are permanently painful and disabling. I come on this forum to tell people that!
