My sister's cancer was discovered when she had an endoscopic ultrasound to look for pancreatic cancer. We both have BRCA mutation and I have pancreatic cancer. She had an 8 cm mass in the abdomen, found to be spread from the esophagus. Nothing in other places seen on the PET scan. She has started chemotherapy. Chemotherapy might be of benefit.
