My husbands esophageal adenocarcinoma had spread to his liver (and lungs, bone, lymph nodes and soft tissue). Ironically the biopsies done 14 months prior to diagnosis were all negative.
I specify adenocarcinoma because I’m not sure how or if it compares to squamous cell.

I am so sorry. My husband’s is the same kind as yours, but it has not spread to all of the places you mentioned. His liver, however, is what is causing him “to lose the battle” (medical oncologist’s words). The hardest struggle of my life.
