EMG Test. I have not heard about that before. I will check into that. What did they do to correct the problem? I live in a small town with no large cities close, but if I can find some place that will do this testing I will travel. Do you have constant pain or intermittent pain? Thank you for sharing.

Electromyography (EMG) measures muscle response or electrical activity in response to a nerve's stimulation of the muscle. The test is used to help detect neuromuscular abnormalities. During the test, one or more small needles (also called electrodes) are inserted through the skin into the muscle.

You can tell the nerve that is causing your problem. By measuring a test voltage applies to the Nerve. It's easy too look up.

Has any of the doctor's mentioned a problem with the facet joint? Not sure if there is a problem there if it will show up on an MRI.
