@SusanEllen66 I think that having one or many autoimmune conditions limit my options when taking natural supplements or meds. Never know how I am going to react. But I never expected to find difficulties with psychiatric meds so common such as ssri. Before, that has never be a problem for me. Today is going to be 10 days with this sleepy mind eventhough i stopped the ssri already last thursday. I am still asleep and my brain is not working but in a slow manner. I feel angry about loosing so many days, I dont wake up on time. Yesterday I tried to work writing an article and after finishing it, i slept the whole afternoon till today!!!!! I want this med out of my system and Its taking too long!! doctors should be more alert when dealing with autoinmune patients, before prescribing anything. How do you deal with depression or/and anxiety? Which meds work for you without so severe bad reactions? Thanks

@lorena1egas I have been taking ssri for a long time. I have bi-polar disorder. It also helps with the pain from fibromyalgia.
I have to take it…
This issue with sudden sleep attacks is fairly new and progressing.
Narcolepsy is usually diagnosed when someone is really young. I’m 73, so it’s not really making sense but who knows.
