Husband, 71, given one year at best...

My ex husband did not realize he had Prostate Cancer until he collapsed on the street with a broken back (from the cancer spread) a PSA of over 2200 and spread to multiple organs. He lived another 3 years with treatment. I don't understand the "less than a year". Prayers are with you.

So can they work backwards Take the prostate out, the source Radiate the margins and go heavy on Xtandi etc again

I had L2 radiated Took out 1 1/2 inch of cancer in 2020 Walking slow Feel great

Once in bones it usually stays in bones Maybe lymp but not vital organs There is hope

You are right. Both previous oncologist and my breast surgeon l see for check ups got rather upset when l told them. Breast surgeon said he can't count the cases of people being alive and kicking five years later!! Besides, l have the feeling this she-oncologist who is supposed to be professionally fantastic, might be a little bit too full of herself... lnstead of motivating the patient - while maintaining a realistic approach, of course - she distroys him...
