I was prescribed 22-45 mg K daily by my functional medicine doctor. My rheumatologist said this was fine, it was prescribed that way in Japan. It is mg, not mcg. I buy it from NBIhealth as Osteo-K.
It actually is 45 mg or 45,000 mcg. That dose is hard to find in a supplement. The only ones I have found are Life Extension and Thorne. Thorne is a great product, clean and you can cut the dose a little if you wanted by just using less drops. It's super expensive though.
