@sammyloue, Dairy milk has a lot of potassium and phosphorus so since I already didn't tolerate dairy well, it was easy for me to eliminate it from my diet. I do eat very small portions of vegan cheese (only a couple of times a week since it's higher in sodium per portion than is good for me) and sometimes eat bread products containing small amounts of dairy milk but otherwise simply don't consume dairy products. Once in a great while I will have a very small portion of vegan ice "cream" made with coconut milk but not much and not often because of the fat content. But we're all different - what works for me might not work for anyone else. I will say that most good kidney websites say to limit dairy.
