...just a guess but what about a new soap you are using; or shampoo; detergent to wash sheets; a new food? I dont have itching but burning face and like yo tops of shoulders etc., but no itching and have gone through everything in my house i can think of...inside and outside so have had it through the last year, four seasons in Canada.... dermatologist says not his field; neurologist says not his field... well what next? sometimes my face is red sometimes not but burning and then going under chin etc. etc. i only once woke up with extreme itching above my waist but only once and it was horrible so I sympathize with you - hope you find cause/solution soon, J. p.s. like you, I feel its the nerve endings inside my body but no help!
