Hi, well me too!!! No one seems to be able to tell me much about the pain in the soles of my feet. I have been a walker/hiker all my life, no more. Do have peripheral neuropathy, but pregabalin stops all pain and tingling. It is the soles that scream after a few steps. My doc said it was gout, prescribed allipurinol (spelling) which did nothing except give me a nasty rash all around midrif...Stopped that, oh, you must have plantar fascitis, No, not that either, just want the pain in feet to stop, i AM now wearing only sandals, bare feet, with an arch insert, which is ok for a few steps, but after about 20 paces, wham!!! have to stop. Anybody who reads this any suggestions??? Thanks, much appreciated if any, Terry

I had burning feet and big red toe and was told it was gout 20 years ago. Given Norotin - helped but bad side effects. Now take Pure Encapsulations alpha lipoic acid. After 2 weeks, the burning has stopped, the tingling and red greatly reduced plus no bad side effects except it's expensive. Brands make a difference. If don't use Pure Encapsulations, try Thorne.

@roosterry, Hmmmm, when I was in PT for my knees and balance, my therapist commented about my high arches. I wonder if I should look for an arch insert. It is something else to consider. Maybe we will receive other useful thoughts about our burning feet. Best wishes, @joybringer1
