Hello. I thought I'd comment, although I don't have a suggestion for burning feet. Your post caught my attention, however, because of how much more I have come to consult with my podiatrist since being diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, or PN. I have had PN symptoms for a number of years, and, so far, those symptoms have involved largely my feet and, to a lesser degree, my legs (general weakness). But no burning. And no pain. In fact, the oddest thing was if it hadn't been for an EMG test last fall, I might still not realize that the nerves in my feet are no longer sending proper signals to my brain. The result: a wobbly gait (aka big-time balance problems). That's enough about my situation. Once again, I felt urged to comment to mention what a big help my podiatrist has become in my battle with PN – and to ask if you've got a podiatrist you like and trust. That might be the best route to relief from your burning feet.

Hi, well me too!!! No one seems to be able to tell me much about the pain in the soles of my feet. I have been a walker/hiker all my life, no more. Do have peripheral neuropathy, but pregabalin stops all pain and tingling. It is the soles that scream after a few steps. My doc said it was gout, prescribed allipurinol (spelling) which did nothing except give me a nasty rash all around midrif...Stopped that, oh, you must have plantar fascitis, No, not that either, just want the pain in feet to stop, i AM now wearing only sandals, bare feet, with an arch insert, which is ok for a few steps, but after about 20 paces, wham!!! have to stop. Anybody who reads this any suggestions??? Thanks, much appreciated if any, Terry
Good luck in your search. Let us all know if you find something that works.
I purchased My Pillow.com slippers in a larger size due to swelling and pain. I ordered half size up from my normal size. I have bought more sneakers and slippers trying to get the right pair I can walk in. So this is what I’ve got for now until the pain (if it ever does) subsides.
I went on vacation with back spasms and foot pain (severe nerve damage). My guy ended up having to do all the lifting and packing up. I could not do it. Could not really walk. Was miserable. Please be realistic with your abilities. See a podiatrist before you go (as suggested by the gentleman). Know what you can feasibly do and what you cannot. Be prepared for anything. This will insure your vacation goes well.
Best of luck.

Have you tried soaking your feet in cold water upon wakening for 10 minutes?
I have problems with my feet. I purchased scholls inserts from amazon and that have helped.
